ePub books are best for reading on Apple and Android devices.
Advantages of ePub format:
- You can read an ePub file on most mobile devices. Works with Apple iBooks app and various Android ePub apps.
- ePub files will open on most Apple computers too, using the iBook app
- You can adjust the size and color of the text, depending on which app you are using
Disadvantages of ePub format:
- Does not work with Amazon Kindle devices
- Does not work with Windows computers unless you download an extra application
- Might work with Nook devices
- Not able to print the book
